Man its been a long time since I posted. Its not like nothing has been going on, its more like a lot has been going on and I haven't had the time to post.
Kids are doing great. Levi started playing Power Soccer. Its soccer with power wheelchairs. Metal guards are placed on the front of the chairs and these guards push an oversized soccer ball. It's pretty cool. I could see it catching on with "able" bodied people. Sort of a NASCAR soccer kinda thing with the bumping, crashing, pushing and hitting.
Sammy is getting taller and taller. He's almost 5ft 6in and wears an 11.5 shoe and is just starting his 5th grade year. He continues to do well in school. He plays the piano (and practices without being told!) and has taken up the clarinet. He is on the soccer team, but he is sort of slow and awkard and usually only gets in if there is a big lead. He's OK with that, so I guess I am too. Just wait until basketball season though!
I still spend too much time at work, but its paying off. Our problems this summer were nil as compared to last. We continue to grow, getting good projects, not the crap we were burdened with last year from the previous owners. Yeah, we are still cleaning up some of their shit, but most of it is off the books now. Opening satellites in NM, TX and FL will hopefully pay off in big ways. $$$$$$$$$$
I love what I do, the stress, the challenges, the victories, the in your face victories especially. Kill or be killed, conquer or be conquered. Losing sucks and I hate losing. HATE IT. I was put here to win, to succeed, to create happy customers, to solve problems, to connect people to get things to work. I LOVE IT.
